Stallholder Terms & Conditions

The Mallee Almond Blossom Festival Committee (MABFC) allocates sites at the Robinvale Community Centre on the Sunday of the Festival for vendors to sell their wares subject to the following terms and conditions:

* All bookings are required online through the website. All details required can be entered online. The market is aimed at high-quality produce and goods and the MABF is able to refuse site allocation if the goods are not in keeping with the theme.

* Should I be successful in my application, I understand full payment is required within 14 days of receiving notification via a Letter of Engagement. I understand that failure to pay the stall fee within 14 days of receiving confirmation may result in losing my stall space. All fees must be prepaid.

All site holders must notify the committee 7 days in advance if they will not be attending the market. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the fee.

* All Stallholders are required to provide a certificate of currency for Public & Product Liability Insurance for a minimum of $10 million.  

In addition, stallholders selling food products, whether packaged or prepared must be compliant with the Victoria Health Department's 'Streatrader' registration requirements.

Safety 

Gas or electricity operated appliances must comply with relevant regulations.   

Fire extinguishers must be on hand and correctly maintained.   

Electrical cords must be tested & tagged

A Safety Officer will inspect gas & electrical appliances, fire equipment, including extinguishers & blankets and general site safety.  All activities and facilities that are detected for non-compliance with the legislative requirements may be shut down.

Insurance certificates, Streatrader, Food Registration certificates should be emailed to info@mabf.org.au   

* I understand that Stallholders are responsible for the appropriate disposal of waste upon pack up.

* The Festival accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any property of the Stallholder brought to the Festival; or injury to any person associated with the stallholder.

The nominated fee will be paid in advance in order to secure a site. The schedule for sites is as follows:

  • 3x3 stall undercover in Robinvale Community Centre $75

  • 3x3 stall outside $75

  • Community organisations generating income on the day $20

  • Food vendors (No Power Required) $150

  • Food vendors (Power Required) $200

  • Not-for-profit Free

* All stalls need to be ready for business and all cars in the car park by 9.30 at the latest.   
On arrival, site holders must report to the information tent to confirm site location.

PLEASE NOTE:

* Sites inside the Robinvale Community Centre are limited.  There are plenty of outside sites but shelters are not provided.
